Training & Supporting Humanitarians

Overview

Supporting aid workers and  volunteers is an important part of what we do. Many aid volunteers arrive without the appropriate training to work with refugee communities effectively and handle the challenges associated with the work. Since 2016, we have run a wide range of training sessions. These  are some examples:

  • Self-care
  • Cultural Sensitivity
  • Child Protection
  • Mindfulness at work
  • Working with Trauma
  • Working with Refugees
  • Managing Stress
  • Security

We have also run therapeutic support groups and have provided one-to-one therapy for humanitarian workers in need.
